A Lot of Words

What happens immediately after we die—and what will eternity actually be like?

In Heaven — Part 1, Brett Schoeneick and Pastor Matt Smith discuss the Christian hope of heaven, resurrection, and the glorified body.

They explore whether we will recognize our spouse and other people we knew on Earth, whether marriage continues in heaven, how believers can experience perfect joy when someone they loved is not there, and what Scripture suggests about babies and children who die.

The conversation also tackles what we will actually do in heaven, whether our pets may be there, what age our glorified bodies might appear to be, and whether ethnicity and nationality remain part of who we are.

Before the main discussion, Brett puts Matt on the spot with a “Stump the Pastor” question about Matthew 23:35 and Zechariah.

Part 1 of a two-part series on Heaven.
